The recognition of Germany

Officially the Federal Republic of Germany or the German say Bundesrepublik Deutschland, is a federal parliamentary republic in Europe. The country consists of 16 states while the capital and largest city is Berlin. It covers an area of 357,021 km2 and has a largely temperate seasonal climate. With 81.8 million inhabitants, it is the most populous member state and the largest economy in the European Union. It is one of the major political powers of the European continent and a technological leader in many fields.
It has the world's fourth largest economy by nominal GDP and the fifth largest by purchasing power parity. It is the second largest exporter and third largest importer of goods. The country has developed a very high standard of living and a comprehensive system of social security. Germany has been the home of many influential scientists and inventors, and is known for its cultural and political history.

Germany is a country that defeated the former in the Second World War as well as Japan. As a warning of defeat in world war, then the city of Berlin is now the capital of the Federal Republic Germ’s divided into two parts, east controlled by the allies and Russia to the west is controlled by the allies, led by the United States. Britain and France have also in the territory of West Berlin. But after Helmut Kohl and former Chancellor Gobarchev each as head of West Germany's government and Russia represent East Germany join hands to do the reunification of Berlin, now the city of Berlin into one. It also marked the unification of Germany became one again with a marked fall of the Berlin Wall in 1995.
Although the city of Berlin as well as other states completely destroyed by the defeat of the war, but after going through the hard work and support technologies that have been mastered. So after half a century passed Germany as well as Japan turned into a modern state. The progress achieved is characterized by progress in the field of its technology. Germany has been making progress as the country has become the motor in the field of economics and technology to its neighbors in the region of Europe. And as a symbol of the progress of the top European countries, especially Germany, then they unite and form the European Union. This union will come into force early next year, and the euro currency has been used for everyday life.

In the year 2002 was a very historic moment for Germany and EU countries, because in that year will apply the single currency euro in the entire EU territory. It is not only interesting for the European Union member states themselves, but also for other countries both near and far neighbors as far away as the Republic of Indonesia. The appeal covers in all areas of the economy, technology, excursions, etc...
Progress in the field of technological and the economic progress of Germany makes some Indonesians as one of the options to send their sons and daughters to studying there. This view is reasonable and logical for us all. Because of the advanced and modern countries such as Germany, America, Japan, Britain, France, etc. will be followed by progress in the field of education, whether primary, secondary and college levels. However, compared with developed countries and other modern such as America, Britain, Japan, Australia, etc.; Germany is still lagging behind in pursuit of the number of prospective students who want to school or studying in the country of manufacture of BMW , Mercedes Benz, Bosch, Siemens, and so on.

With its central position in Europe, Germany is a transportation hub. This is reflected in its dense and modern transport networks. The motorway (Autobahn) network ranks as the third largest worldwide in length. Germany has established a polycentric network of high-speed trains. The InterCityExpress or ICE network of the Deutsche Bahn serves major German cities as well as destinations in neighbouring countries. The largest German airports are Frankfurt Airport and Munich Airport, both hubs of Lufthansa, while Air Berlin entertains hubs at Berlin Tegel and Düsseldorf. Other major airports include Berlin Schönefeld, Hamburg, Cologne/Bonn and Leipzig/Halle. Both airports in Berlin will be consolidated at a site adjacent to Berlin Schönefeld, which will become Berlin Brandenburg Airport in 2012.

United States is still the primary choice for prospective students from Indonesia who want to school abroad. The second destination countries are Australia, as based on a location closer to Indonesia as well as educational and living costs in Australia are cheap, then unfortunately that is forgotten the prospective Indonesian students for granted. It also does not just happen by itself. But it can happen because a lot of information from private agents who diligently peddling school opportunities to the country. Each half of the turn they often do education exhibition in major cities in Indonesia such as Jakarta, Surabaya, Semarang,Yogyakarta etc.. So the impact was huge, many young people of school age who chose the United States and Australia as a destination country to overseas schools. Britain is one country in the European region is also quite aggressive peddling of information schools in the country.

The Advantages of studying in Germany. For example : the school, from elementary school to university to doctorate level, everything was free (read: not charged tuition or building fees). This is different to other countries demanding payment of money or a semester of college is pretty big.

The peculiarity of Germany is in seducing or attracting young people of school age in universities from different countries, mainly countries in Asia, because of the lack of sufficiently detailed source of information for prospective college students. Whether the information provided through exhibitions, seminars, pamphlets, brochures, placards, etc. have not been adequately given or sent by Germany to other countries. If there is any good sources of information from exhibitions, seminars, billboards, etc.. But it is based on the perspective of the Germans against the foreign students who want the school to Germany. There are not many sources of information disseminated by the perspective of prospective students who are interested to study in Germany. So that this information had a gap. Only in recent years toward the end of the 20th century's, the Germans increased dissemination of information to potential countries sending young children to German schools, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, China, etc.. This is done through the organization of seminars and the exhibitions .
The information is based on the perspective of the prospective students who will school in Germany that has several parameters, namely:

  • Contains information about the quality of education in Germany.
  • Mention how equalization between countries of origin with a diploma from the German state.
  • Contains provide information on how to apply the procedures the University or other universities in Germany.
  • Provide information details the real cost of living for their daily needs on a level of necessity (living simple).
  • Inform you how to learn the language and what it costs is needed and where it can take a course that language.
  • Indicates other requirements necessary to live and schools in Germany, etc..

If the above requirements can be given in detail, it will give a considerable impact significantly with the increase in the number of prospective students who are interested in continuing his studies in Germany.
