The Privileges of Germany

Before people decide to school to Germany, they should already know what is interesting and special education in Germany. Without knowing this and just do what they say, then It will be a disappointment later. For that before determining seek as much as information as possible, the advantages and disadvantages, good or not, how the requirements, etc..
Also an important thing in terms of finding information is not only what we believe will be only one source of our information, example of this or any of the brochures available at the DAAD or in the Embassy's own German. Because sometimes that is written therein less proportionally to the interests of prospective students.Usually there is something still hidden and have not been informed. So that when many sources of information you will get a lot of consideration and can make informed decisions. But do not be otherwise, because a lot of information is difficult to determine a decision.
Therefore, to help increase the provision of needed information, in order to determine the decision to study in Germany, can be considered some of these below:

1. Free Education :

The problem seems to tuition fees are still not many people know that in Germany, the school from elementary school (Grundschule) up to a level no charges postgraduate degree  like to pay building fees, tuition, etc.. In other words, that the schools in Germany is free. Even if there are collections should be a social contribution (Sozialgebühr) where the amount is relatively small. For example : In Bremen, I just paid 230 Euro/Semester, this fee is included to purchase a semester Ticket, and I think It is not too bad and cheaper as studying in Hamburg, You must pay 500 Euro/Semester but it's not included the Semester Ticket.

Even if there is an increase of social contributions, Actually its because of changes in fuel prices which fluctuate every year, where the fluctuation tendency to rising prices.
For University and Fachhochschule in other cities have their own tariffs, although it is still relatively inexpensive.

2. Health insurance :

As long as we learn and live in Germany are required to have health insurance. This is essential if we are forced sick and went to the hospital. When the examination and stay in hospital, we do not think about how much the cost to be paid. All will be covered by health insurance that we follow or we are registered. These advantages will benefit all if we follow statutory health insurance ( gesetzliche Krankenversicherung ) For Examples : There are 2 statutory health insurance I know namely AOK and TK.

3. Hiwi and Miwi :

Hiwi is an opportunity to become assistant research of a Professor or Doctor. This opportunity is being offered by Professor and doctor who mostly work in the field of natural science. Hiwi main job is to work with a time of about 2-4 hours per week. After attending Hiwi it is most likely to get a chance Miwi. Miwi main job is to conduct research for his dissertation material. So Miwi is required by the Professor for someone who is willing to do promotion (Doctoral). Monthly salaries earned both quite large, equivalent in lieu of scholarship, which is sufficient for modest living expenses in Germany.

4. Visits to the outside Germany :

When someone has been able to enter and school in Germany, it is a convenience facility with German visa, can be used for visiting other countries that joined in the Uni-Europe. Even to this paper was prepared, the German visa can be used to visit friends in Switzerland, or to Denmark without taking care of his visa. Sometimes there are people assume that traveling outside of Germany is a "waste". But on the other hand also there who think this is a separate investment (in the field of innovation ideas, etc.). Because by visiting a new place we'll get something interesting.

As an example of people who lived in Bremen, then visited Amsterdam (Netherlands), it will be equally aware that coastal city, but Amsterdam is more sordid than the city of Bremen. Not to mention the architecture of existing buildings or saw the habit of using drugs, etc.. From here also can be seen a resemblance to that on the side of the layout of the city, usually the city in europe area shopping center located close to the Station. Bremen and Amsterdam have the resemblance. From this kind of thing we would open wide horizons later. Especially if when the roads are associated with areas of our study, it will be many benefits.

5. Flohmarkt :

In the Indonesian language,We usually call the Flohmark is Flea Market. In Germany the existence of this Flohmark at first not so regarded by the Germans themselves, because if you buy the goods at the flea usually low quality. But this time Flohmark already has its own meaning for the Germans. If you want to look for antiques stuffs, just release the hobby for shopping, etc., then Flohmark is the choice. And for foreigners in Germany is a land Flohmark to find additional revenue. Because we can sell there with a rental rate per surface area .

When looking for used books of all kinds of books, there are many traded. Items offered are plentiful and varied, ranging from sewing needles to people selling used cars sold there are all of them. Prohibited goods are usually sold in Flohmark vegetables, fruits or goods need to eat everyday. Sometimes the quality of the goods in Flohmark still good, very clever to choose the origin of goods. Only when you are buying the electronic goods are not very recommended here.

7. SSV and WSV:

is short and Winterschlussverkauf Sommerschlussverkauf, namely season sale at the end of summer and winter. As the time of writing done, is going SSV from July 31 until August 11. SSV and WSV usually lasts for about 2 weeks. In this WSV SSV and all stores give discounts or rebates that huge of 10-70%. Discounts are given depending on the type of goods. It's Usually for small electronic items getting the discount once. Because of this discount, the price of goods becomes very, very cheap.discussing a type of goods of Flohmarkt  in price, if you think about the selling price is not commensurate with the cost of production. But it happens every WSV and SSV. This is possible because the system is running in Germany. If the remaining items remain in the warehouse, it will be subject to higher taxes. So to avoiding a big tax, the better sale as cheap as possible. Goods that usually get large discounts are perfumes, clothes, jeans, jacket, t-shirts, etc..

8. Semester Ticket :

These facilities usually are being given to a student who have officially studied in several Hochschule, Fachhochschule, or University in Germany.Although there is also several University and Fachhochschule in German which are not providing this facilities or another side, their student must  be purchasing the semester ticket by own , but almost in the big cities each college provide this facility. For University and Fachhochschule who did not give the facility the semester ticket, usually associated with a network of public transportation in a city that has not been supportive. For example, there is not much public transportation in the city for Example : Hochschule Koethen ANhalt. Benefits of the semester ticket is immense, because it can ease the cost of transportation in the city or out of town where is sometimes up to a certain limit. With the semester ticket, students can use all types of public buses, Strassenbahn (electric trains), S-Bahn or U-Bahn (subway) with free and unlimited time. But if someone does not have this facility, so if the traveling by public transport facility will be charged according to the general rate. the semester ticket facility is rarely found in other countries, for example in Japan, Australia, Holland, England, etc..

9. Public transport :

In Germany when someone has a hobby to do travelling elsewhere  is very worthy and you are not wrong to selecting German being your prior choise. It's all due to reach other cities and to be able to visiting whole of cities in Germany, anytime and anywhere. This type of public transport is an electric train (diesel for small villages). Traveling with transportation is relatively cheap, especially at weekends (Wochenende). Deutsche Bahn (DB) has been relied to hold the primary responsibility of railway affair in Germany, DB offers Wochenen-de Ticket (weekend ticket) to the citizens of Germany. This seems to be a stimulant instead of Germans prefer to walk. The ticket price of 39 Euro (2011) can be used to travel in all directions to all cities in Germany for a maximum of five (5) adults. This Wochenende Ticket can still be used for Saturday or Sunday, it depends on when you have bought it.
Because the Wochenende Ticket can only be used for one day, ie Saturday only or Sunday only. Ticket is valid from 04.00 till 24.00-02.00. Since the ticket is cheap, so not all types of trains can be used with this ticket. Wochenende Ticket valid only for the type of train RegionalExpress (RE), RegionalBahn (RB), and S-Bahn.the Wochenende Ticket is interesting for traveling with family.

10. BahnCard :

BahnCard (BC) is a facility of the Deutsche Bahn ticket with discounts of 50% of normal price for 12 months. With this BahnCard, person can travel anywhere with the various types of trains and get discounts up to 50%.
